You are in town, aimlessly wandering around the shops for anything that might interest you. Your attention is caught by the three men that are standing outside the video game shop, handing items out to passersby. Curiosity gets the better of you, so you walk closer for a better look. One of the men hands one to you, something that looks like a CD case. He explains to you that it is a new Pokemon game, the beta version of the game currently in development. They appear to be looking for eager young gamers to test it out.
Having been a Pokemon fan since you were a child, you become excited
“I want to draw you…”
It is 4:00pm, Monday. A girl of about thirteen stands in front of me. She might be a little short for her age, and her style of clothing is a bit too young, but somehow I can tell she’s a young teenager. In her hand she is holding a number of different pencils and pens.
I look at her face. There is something about her eyes that seem a little strange, but it’s probably just a trick of the light. She is smiling – the way a happy, excited kid would smile.
“I want to draw you…” She says again, stepping towards me. I think she’s one of those weird kids from the a

They dragged benches into a circle, and the elders and leaders of the town gathered in, forming a council. The King's envoys on one side, the dragons behind them, and arrayed on the other, the Townsfolk.
"How long has this been going on for?" Nett asked, taking the lead.
"Ten days" The man who answered was young, no older than the three who sat opposite, but he looked serious. He glanced around, seeing if one of the older men would take over the story, but they seemed happy to leave the responsibility to him.
"The dragon appeared ten days ago. It came from the north, and settled over that way." He gestured east. "We keep the sheep there b

The briefing was short, and only happened when Rowan was certain that all the parties concerned were awake enough to fully comprehend what was being said. They had stopped for breakfast and a chance to stretch their legs, and Harry was pacing up and down.
"Harry," Rowan started, unsure of what to say. His friend whirled round to glare at him.
"I want you to know what we're going to do."
"Oh?"
"I know more than I told Lil."
"Not surprising, considering how little she knew."
Rowan sighed. Harry wasn't going to help him here.
"We've got a rogue dragon on our hands."
Harry frowned. "I'm fairly sure there's no way for them to go rogue"

Ok, yes I'm loopy,
Some would say insane
Maybe I have an omelette
Instead of a functioning brain.
I'll mishear and misinterpret
Everything you say
I blame it all completely on
Cellular Radioactive decay
Sometimes I'll make sense
On very odd occasions
But only after energy drinks
And lots of good persuasions
Most of the time I'm not quite there
But away with the dragons
In my own little world
Where marshmallows come in wagons.
But done be afraid I don't bite
Well not to hard really
I'm just as harmless
As a Columbia tiger lily
On that note I'll leave it there
There's nothing more to say
Other then these six
To get from Bristol to Oxford, one has to change at Didcot. The wait is irregular, sometimes long, sometimes short, but it is always cold. Even in the sunniest weather, the waiting room is shaded and traversed by a breeze. The bar stools at the tiny café stand empty, and the chairs around their tables send a clear message to visitors; "we are cold and hard."
This particular day was cloudy. The sky had that ripe look it gets when it is full to bursting and ready to pour its content on the land below. I was carrying a suitcase and my violin, and on my back was a rucksack, the lunch it had contained already eaten. The sign said

Rowan woke first the next morning, before dawn. It took him a while to remember why he was waking up that early, but once he had, he got out of bed as quickly a possible. It was cold. The warmth of the days belied the fact that summer was over, but it was impossible to ignore the changing season at night. He puled on rough clothing, woollen and plain, but warm. He knew what they were going to do, but had refrained from telling his sister, knowing that she would insist on accompanying them if she knew how dangerous it could be. He had nothing against her coming with them in general, but the only dragon large enough to carry two was Makarios,

Harry allowed himself a slight groan as he lowered himself to the floor. Even after five years of flying, his legs still cramped up after a long journey. He glanced around at the sleeping forms of the two dragons who shared the old stables, their forms twined together, vague shapes in the half- light from the open door. His own Kari had told him the were asleep as they came in to land, but some part of him still relied on visual reassurance.
Do you want me to ask Rowan for help?
Harry shook his head, but he took the hint and bent down to unbuckle the saddle that sat above the dragon's shoulders. He felt glad, and not for the firs
Thor felt quite uneasy seeing Oswald handling his granfather's shotgun so carelessly, like it was a stick found on the ground.
"Have you ever killed anyone?" asked Oswald, handing the shotgun to Thor.
Thor shook his head. He remembered one summer spent on his uncle's farm. He was about eight then. His ten-year-old cousin Colin, had a task to dispose of six newborn kittens.
"We have plenty of cats," the uncle said. "Colin and Thor, you take care of them."
Thor did not understand, but for Colin it was not the first time. What it meant, it was to collect the kittens in a canvass bag and put them in the lake. After they were drowned, pick up
